After her boyfriend cheats on her with her roommate, Nora escapes to her best friend’s vacant apartment for the summer… only to find it occupied by Jack.
* Nora drags a suitcase packed with everything she owns through Manhattan and desperately tries to get in touch with her best friend Jenna, who’s spending the summer in London.
* Jenna offers Nora a place to stay at her apartment in the West Village.
* Nora grabs a bottle of wine and heads over, hoping to decompress. Instead, she walks in on an unexpected surprise: Jenna’s older brother, Jack.
* Nora immediately recognizes Jack — meanwhile, he mistakes her for his Hinge date.
* Jack quickly proves to be a nightmare roommate, constantly bringing women home late at night.
* Late one night, Nora is working on a painting, and a mouse scurries across the floor. She screams for help, and Jack jumps into action.
* The next day at work, Nora is supposed to be taking notes, but instead finds herself sketching Jack in the margins — and for the first time, her boss is genuinely interested in her art.
* On the walk home, Nora sees her ex-roommate and ex-boyfriend canoodling at a bar. Furious, she storms back to the apartment, where she finds Jack home alone.
* They have a few beers, and their unresolved attraction finally boils over.
