River tries to ignore his feelings for Drea — his brother’s ex — but in a town as small as Hidden Harbor, keeping his distance proves impossible.
* Weeks after their first night together, River finds himself still yearning for Drea.
* River spots Drea surfing and can’t help but admire her from afar.
* As he’s getting his morning coffee, River bumps into Drea, and asks her if she’ll be attending the local beach bonfire that evening.
* At the bonfire, he finds her sitting apart from the crowd, sketching. They laugh and draw together, and he scrawls a note on his drawing, inviting her to meet him in the surf hut.
* River waits, doubting she’ll come — until she does.
* River confesses he hasn’t been able to stop thinking about her.
* Drea doesn’t want to get between River and his brother, but River assures her that they’re not doing anything wrong.
* They can’t hold back anymore, and end up hooking up in the surf hut.
* Before leaving, River asks to see her again — and to his surprise, she agrees.
