Inspired by Aurelia, William begins composing once more. But doubt creeps in, and he finds himself questioning her feelings — and his own.
* William floats through London in a blissful haze of creative inspiration.
* Benedict questions Aurelia’s intentions, shaking William’s confidence.
* At their next lesson, William hopes to confirm her feelings — but is thrown off by a visit from her aunt and uncle. He leaves disheartened.
* Lord Haddington offers William full-time employment on his estate as Aurelia's music teacher. Conflicted and unsure where he stands with her, William stumbles over his lesson and inadvertently hurts her feelings by doubting his own. They part on bad terms.
* Meanwhile, Gilbert invites William and Benedict to join him on a music tour across Europe. William is tempted, but uncertain.
* During a walk, William runs into Aurelia and apologizes. He confesses his feelings, and she returns them.
* He takes her to the concert hall and plays her the piece he has been composing. Moved by the music and each other, they give into their desire.
